is named Mr. Beasley! Cute little fellow! He will be very loved!

We officially have named our new fella Mr Beasley. Just seems to fit his personality. We had a great airport and return flight experience. He did not make a peep. When we arrived home he took to Jeff quickly but you could tell I was his comfort. He ate well and slept with us without problems. He has been quite fun today playing and barking / growling with some of his toys. He is eating well. Jeff has a home office and was here today so Mr B has spent quality time in his lap while he was doing computer work He is stealing some of my affection now. We began outdoor pottying today he seems to understand. All poops have been outside (2) so far and has teed @ least 6 times outside. Only one on pad first thing this am my fault actually it was chilly and I put him down on floor to put in jacket he was on the pad teeing when I looked around. Pad was a good thing though. We are totally smitten with him as is all our friends and family who are meeting him thru pictures. I am so glad we found you. I will continue to update you. He is in good hands.
Hope you are having a good day.
Take Care,
Kim Jeff and Mr Beasley

This write up below is from Hayden's new mom!  He is now named Mr. Beasley and this is her update!

Good morning hope all is well. I wanted to give you a quick update on our first wk with Mr B. He had his vet visit and 2nd shots. He had a perfect report...just mentioned font not yet closed which is normal. His wt was 1.8 lbs. Our vet was extremely complimentary of your breeding skills and knowledge contained and provided in your info sheets. He agreed with your recommendations on excluding the L vaccine (can't recall name) and not including the rabies at same time of last shots.
Aa far as Mr B and adjustment he is doing very well. He is eating and drinking often and outdoor pottying going well too. I have learned crating him in his tote is working perfectly. He sleeps through night until around 7 am daily. He is a perfect companion in his tote riding in car and out and about. He enjoys long periods of playtime with his toys and he is socially engaging with our friends. We have arrived at the beach and he did great on his first beach outing. Stayed in tote sniffing sea air for a couple hours then enjoyed playtime in the sand. He prissed around as if he is born to be a bch bum which fits me perfectly. Jeff and I both love him up as we say and he is getting plenty of affection and quality lap sitting and licking time. He is a precious little fella and again we are so glad we found you. I tried send you a beach pic previously but my lack of tech skills may mean you did not receive.
Hope you are well and all your 4 legged angels are too.
All the best
Kim Jeff and Mr Beasley

ytgrf001.jpg

Shirley, I wanted to write and tell you how thrilled we are with Max. He is just an adorable little guy. I really appreciate how very helpful you were all through this whole process. It was so obvious to both my husband and I how very knowledgeable you are about the breed and how much you love all of your dogs. Max was very healthy, but he was on the smaller side and you told us you would feel more comfortable if he stayed with you a little longer. I really appreciated you putting Max first and keeping him a little longer. In addition to Max having perfect breed conformation, he has the best temperament. That is definitely attributable to how sweet his mom and dad are. I could not recommend you any higher. You have made this a wonderful experience and given us the best Christmas gift ever!

Thanks so much Shirley!

Shirley,
You have given us the wonderful gift of a happy, healthy new little boy. Tucker formerly Aiden is just amazing!! He made it to Alaska healthy and happy. The first nights he only woke up to let me know he needed to potty. Then Right back to his bed. As you can see below he loves his mommy!! I will send more pics of him with family. He is so well adjusted and smart!! He observes then acts its very interesting to watch how he takes in the world then reacts to it.
His face is so beautiful, also he's getting little red freckles on the white part of his face. It's so cute.
I just wanted to say Thank You for making the new addition to our family seamless and stress free. The weekly picture updates were an added bonus!!!
Tucker is so well behaved and socialized. He came from a loving home and it shows. If we ever add a 3rd baby you will be my first option.
Thanks,
Marianne and family

PS. We had a snow storm last week and your Texan boy loves snow!! My Alaskan boy hates it, go figure more pics to follow.

Here is one of our past puppies and the letter
hhh.jpg
from their new "mama" and "grandmama"!

Dear Shirley,

Just so you know, my daughter Kayla and I think about you often and look at pictures on your website monthly (if not more often).  We cherish our little angel, Haddy Mae (formerly Glory Bee). She is so dainty-looking with long legs and flowing white hair, but she is a true tomboy who loves to play in the rain and get dirty!  Like her father, she does not walk, she struts (or prances, as we call it) and she is a champion sock-stealer. She has a rescue Pomeranian as her playmate at my daughter’s apartment.

I’m attaching two photos, one from the day we got her from you (we met at Hobby Lobby since it was sooo hot that August day) and one from earlier this year after she got a little haircut. She is lying down (on command) in this photo and she also sits, shakes and gives high-fives. She weighs just under 5 pounds and is in excellent health!

Some day we dream of raising another HC Chihuahua…until then, we’ll just look at your pictures on the website.

Blessings,

Connie and Kayla Rubio

Bliss is now Maya and went to live with this

of dog-lovin people! Thank you for giving Paisley such a great home!

Paisley is the black/white puppy being held in the above picture!  Here is a note from her new family!  Thank you, Jill!

Hi Shirley!

Our first days with Paisley couldn't have gone more wonderfully! She is such a good little puppy. She has slept thru both nights, only waking up with the rest of the family. She is eating well and uses her puppy pee pad like a little pro. She is really good in the car...she goes with us everywhere...to drop off/pick up at school, to run kiddos to practice...always in her carrier for now. I want to make sure she is used to the car bc I want to take her everywhere with me. :-) You were right...she likes to play hard and then sleep hard! She LOVES my children...and our two rescue pups. She wags her tiny tail like crazy when she sees them...but she's way too small to play with them just yet. As far as her becoming acclimated to our home and family, she has just jumped right in! She was here maybe 30 minutes and she was already hopping around and playing with the kids. She is very social and just a joy to have as part of our family. She is precious to us all!

Lola was a beauty who will live a pampered life

Hi Shirley,

I just wanted to let you know our bundle of joy - Flash - is doing very well.  There is no question he is my little boy - he's very active and loves to romp in the yard.  I've included a photo of him, he loves to lay at the top of my chair which is where I took the snap shot.

I have to tell you he's very smart and I've taught him to 'sing' with me.  No matter where I am I can start to sing a couple of notes and he comes running, loves to jump into my arms and starts howling and signing away.  He's so much fun and plays very well with our other child with fur, Tigger.  I thought I might be fun for you to see Flash a little older, thanks so much.

tyu186.jpg
perfect name for such a loving little companion!

We are so in love with this little dog. He is eating well and slept all night without a peep out of him. Took him outside and he peed and pooped like a big boy. He seems to already be in a good routine. He has peed on the puddle pad in the laundry room but has only pooped outside. He loves his toys and is so much fun to watch him play, He takes his toys to bed with him. I think he has handled this transition very well. He is learning to trust us to take care of him and understand his needs. Thanks again!

Love, Andrea

I am so happy Ann will be Bitsy's new mama!
plok044.jpg
Bitsy will be very pampered and loved too pieces!!!!

The Vet was so tickled at me for going from a big dog to a one pounder---she weighs one pound and .07 ounces.  He said she is in perfect health at this point and wanted to know all about my breeder. so I had a golden opportunity to tell him about you.  He said Ann, I respect and trust you so much, that I will recommend your breeder in case someone asks about where they could find a Chic.

I go back in 2 weeks for further vaccinations.  I told him about the Lipo and he agreed.  Also, he wanted me to ask you about how old you would recommend for your puppies to be before being spayed.

When we got home she went straight to the litter box, hopped in and tinkled and pooped.  Can you believe that?  She is eating and drinking good.

To keep you informed about Bitsy-----------I am going to send her back to you because she is killing me laughing at her-----------cutest thing I have seen dragging things around playing.(ha) In all my years I have never seen a puppy as smart and happy  as she is and it stems from how you care and love them.  She truly is the joy of my life and I have only had 48 hours.  She continues to use the litter box and does not cry when I put her in her crate when I go down to eat.Just unbelievable!

Wanted to share this with you.  Have a blessed weekend.

Ann

Morgan will be a grandbaby to Peggy and Kristyn
poytt037.jpg
will be Morgan's new mama! She looks like a little teddy bear!

This week will mark my first month with Joey Mac, my own little Angel, raised by Shirley, who is blessed with the ability to raise Angels and to make dreams come true!  We have our routine down to a choreographed wacky dance.  We wake up at 6A.M.,  I put on my sweats, wash my face, etc...  Joey Mac climbs into my pocket, I grab my coffee and we go outside to meet the day.  It's usually chilly in Los Angeles at that hour, so I put Joey's Berber fleece sweater on him too!

He does his "business" while I sing "THE POO SONG" to him, and NO, he won't go unless I sing the song.  After playing some, we go back to my condo, where Joey eats, grabs his favorite toy, goes back to bed to snuggle and watch "The Morning Show".  I watch him in the mirror as I'm dressing for work, and I can't remember a time when he wasn't in my life.  My female Chi, Chompers, adores him, and they take naps together and play with each other all day long.  Now that Joey's shots are done, everyone that meets him wants to hold him and buy him. My answer is no to both of course.

Off to work now, and feeling very blessed.  Why?  Because I have an Angel waiting at home for me.
Mary & Joey Mac

Day # 2 with Jayden

Yesterday Debra smiled & laughed all day. She carried the puppy around to see her friends. Yesterday evening he cried when she was preparing dinner, because she sat him on the floor. (It doesn't take us long to spoil a pup)

Last night he was chasing Howdy again, and Jayden barked at him!

But the best was when we went to bed. Jayden went to sleep laying under her chin on her pillow. Sometime early this morning he decided I needed sugar, then he went back over to her and went to sleep.

Thanks again for letting us pick him up on Fathers Day. She told me coming home, this was the best Fathers Day she had ever had.

We feel its great to purchase a puppy from a breeder who really cares about her puppies and customers. We would recommend you and your company to anyone considering a puppy.

Ronnie

Hi Shirley,
I wanted to give you a little update on Jasper.  He is doing great!  He is up to 3 lbs 2oz and continues to thrive.  His favorite thing to do (other than playing with his stuffed raccoon) is going places in the car.  Of course, he travels in style and always gets lots of attention from everyone he encounters!  He remains a sweet puppy who loves everyone he meets.  Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Hi Shirley! I just wanted to say hello and give you an update on Bella.   Bella is now 5 months old, time has just flown!  She is doing great and has sweetest spirit, ever!  She loves our children and they love her.  We could not be more pleased with her!
Here are some recent pictures of Bella...
Happy 4th of July to you and yours!
Shanda

Hi Shirley,
On April the 3rd Flash had his first checkup with our Vet and Flash was given a clean bill of health.  We are delighted with the energy Flash has.  He is learning quickly, he already knows 'let's go', 'suppers', and of course 'no'.  He loves to play with his toys and keeps us busy chasing after him, he also loves to chase us!   He is a delight and I will keep you updated periodically.  Oh, both ears are now up and he has the most adorable personality.  He is a treasure.  I hope all is well with you and your loved ones.  God Bless you my friend.  I've attached a couple photos of Flash, they were taken this weekend.
Jacque

Shirley,
I just wanted to let you know that Mac (John and I adopted him in
February) is doing GREAT!  He is absolutely the cutest dog EVER.  He has the best little personality and is such a good dog.  I attached his picture for you.  His markings are so beautiful and he has such a proud little prance.  He loves people and just wants to play and play.  I can't express enough how happy I am with him, and how much joy he brings to my life.
Thank you for such an amazing little guy,
Amy Alexander

Hi Shirley:
I hope this email finds you and the family doing GREAT this new year! Neeko just got back from the groomer today so I took some pics and also we went to the park Tues so I took some pics there as well. I just thought I would send them your way to see how WONDERFUL your Mama and Daddy did in creating Neeko... I am SOOOO BLESSED to have such a wonderful LOVING/GIVING/SMART boy in my life! I can't believe this March he will be "4" years old!!! Where does the time go? He is such a JOY and so SMART Shirley. I talk to him as if he was a kid and I swear he understands me... For example I say Neeko where is Mama and he looks up at me... Then I say where is Yia-Yia (Greek for Grandma) and he runs over and sits on my mother-n-laws lap and looks up at her... then I say what about daddy? Then he jumps off the couch and runs and jumps on Pete's lap and takes his paw and taps Pete and looks up at him... not to mention all the friends that come over he knows them all by name and we play the name game and everytime he goes to each person who we call and he taps them with his paw. Then he has (to many) toys that when we bring them home we name each one of them and before he can play with it we tell him "3" time the new toys name.... Long story short he has a toy box that he can reach into and grab whatever toy he wants out BUT when we say "Neeko, go grab "Blue Whale" he brings Blue Whale... "Froggy" he brings froggy...Beaver...he brings beaver...it amazes me and Pete and his Yia Yia and whoever comes over...they can't believe he knows ALL of his toys (which at last count was 50+) so I just wanted to brag on my little man and thought you would be SO PROUD of him too! Take care and stay WARM..it's COLD here in Florida even!
God Bless!
Tascha & Neeko~

Just a note to let you know that Eddie (Luke) is settling in very well!  He's so playful and sweet, his tail is constantly wagging!  We call him "Intrepid Eddie" because nothing holds him back.  He's off exploring every chance he gets, climbing over and under everything (especially into laps) and tugging his toys all over the place.  Our older Chi is a little shy and awkward with him, but no matter what she does, he just keeps having fun.  He is a complete delight!

"Cotton" now known as "Foxy" has become the center of attention at our house!  She is an awesome dog, smart, loving and loads of fun.  Our other dogs adore her as do we.  We remain grateful to you for helping us fill a void in our family.

All the best,
Kim and David

Hello Shirley,
It is so great to hear from you!!  I am sorry it has taken me so long to
send photos.  Buttons is the sweetest and most loving puppy I have ever
had.  He traveled this weekend with us to a wedding and he is a wonderful
traveler.  My daughter absolutely LOVES him.  I can't thank you enough.
One of the things we love about him the most is his playful spirit.  He
already knows how to play fetch!!  He's so smart!
Take care! -Wendy

She is doing great!  She is adorable, funny and perfect for our family.  She brings a smile to everyone she comes in contact with.  She loves to play and is very friendly to everyone.  She sleeps very well at night and naps well during the day.  She has a great appetite and is very happy and well adjusted.  Thank you so much for Dolly.  She is a blessing.  Looking forward to the holidays with her.  I will send pictures when I get them.

Hi Shirley,

Thanks so much for Buster!!  He is adapting well to our home and family.  He has already met his two cousin Chihuahuas.  He is VERY spoiled….has to sleep with me at night and won’t leave my side.  I have a sling that I carry him around in because he has to be close to me at all times.  I hope I’m not making a mistake by spoiling him but he is such a little thing.  I feel bad if he cries.  He is very loving and playful.  We are hooked and love him very much!  I will send pictures as he gets older.

Thanks so much,

Gina

Hi Shirley.  I've attached a photo of the champion of all dogs, Panda, who was adopted by my elderly friend, J V.  Sadly, Joyce passed away a few weeks ago.  However, Panda and Joyce had a lovely, bonded, relationship.  Panda and I stayed with Joyce when she was in hospice care.  Panda would check on Joyce and gave great comfort to everyone- Joyce, me, the healthcare providers and even the family of other people at the hospice.  Honestly, families were coming by Joyce's room and asking if Panda could come and visit.  She was a natural!  Therapy dog supreme.  That little dog brought so much light and joy to everyone.  Precious.  Panda has made a gentle and happy transition in her new life without Joyce.  I love her and will always cherish her.  Truly remarkable dog.

Best wishes,
MKS

Dear Shirley,
I just wanted to thank you soo much for "Lexus."  I renamed her Dallas Payton.  She is the greatest puppy I could ever ask for. She's very protective of me but is loving towards others. She sleeps with me at night; Curled up in a little ball up under my neck. It's adorable.  Here are some pictures of her. She has grown so much already!
Again, thank you so much for her. I love her so much.
Amanda C.

I am giving you an update on Rex and he is doing great!! :)  He has gotten so many compliments on his appearance that I really cannot even keep track. Anyone who has seen him has absolutely fallen in love with him and nearly everyone has said that they would like to have one with markings like his. He is already a local celebrity it seems! Haha. He has only had ONE accident!! I cannot believe it! He has to be the best puppy I have had yet! He cries when he needs to go to the bathroom and we take him out and then he goes back to sleep. He nearly sleeps through the night too! He maybe gets up one or two times now. He is starting to show some real personality and has definitely become attached to us already it seems. As for he and Baby....that is still a work in progress. She is not as excited as he is to become friends but there has been slight progress from day one so that's a plus! He is eating pretty well...mostly the wet food and little dry and he is drinking right after he eats. He is so loving and wonderful. We absolutely adore him! I'm attaching a picture of the little rascal causing trouble trying to get into my purse!

Sincerely,
Emily

He is so wonderful, he actually sleeps in his crate (preferred for him), lets me know when he needs to go potty and hasn’t had an accident since yesterday morning, he goes on the paper and has figured out what go potty means.  He is adorable… he also comes with me in the mornings to take Hunter to school…

I could just go on and on – he is wonderful, just wonderful

Daisey is doing great!!  Her well baby checkup went well.  Their scales agreed with your, 1.25 pounds.  She travels really well.  I have a couple of dogs that get car sick every time we get in the car, but not her!  She is eating, sleeping, playing, slipping and sliding on our wood floor.  She is so funny.  Jim told her she was really a bunny and that you just told her she was a dog.  I have to confess she is already spoiled!!  The first night she slept in a pet carrier right next to my side of the bed.  We did not hear a peep out of her.  Saturday night, she let me know, in no uncertain terms, she was not going to sleep there, I could just forget it.  So she slept in between Jim's and my pillow.  That gave her about a food of space.  She is spending a lot of time in my lap or up on my shoulder with her head under my chin.  She is doing good with the potty training.  Every time she wakes up or eats we go outside.  Within seconds she is urinating.  And if I sit down in the swing she will wander around and find the correct spot and take care of her other business.  The other dogs go crazy when I take her out, they are checking her out like they had never seen her before.  The silver and white male, Lucky, is afraid of her.  Blue is starting to warm up.  And I know before long they will all be in one pile sleeping together.

Hello Shirley!
I just wanted to let you know how Max was doing after his first 2 days with us... and he is AWESOME! We love him so much! He is so much fun to play with and cuddle with. We feel so lucky to have such a great pup.  He seems to have adjusted really well.  He doesn't whine a bit and is eating like a champ.
Thank you so much for all of the great information. It has been wonderful getting to know you and I will keep in touch.

Hello!
Just wanted to send you an update. Bailey just had his second set of shots today and did great! He did not yelp or anything :) he is now 3.5 lbs, they gave me a puppy kit for heartworm and flea/tick so I will be starting that real soon now that he has grown a bit.
Oh and both his ears went up! He is just sooo cute! Everywhere we take him people always goo goo ga ga over him & think he is just so beautiful. :)
My friend met him for the first time and fell in love and she really wants to get a chihuahua when her son is older, so if/when she is ready I will send her your way!

Hi Shirley,Here are two pictures taken of our beloved Sabra. They were taken last Sunday after the Steelers - Browns game. Needless to say as evidenced by her official Steelers jersey she is a huge fan and even has her own terrible towel. She has brought so much joy to our lives that Ill never be able to thank you enough.

We had a smooth trip home...an 8 hour drive & no carsickness or whining (from the puppy!).  We arrived home at 11pm, put Mac in his playpen & never heard a peep from him.  I woke up at 5am to find that he had gotten up during the night & gone to potty on the puppy pad!  What a considerate little man!

At 10 weeks Mac weighs only 1 pound 10 ounce, but already has the personality of a giant.  He's just perfect for our 3-generation home!  He has boundless energy & amazing tolerance when playing with Anna, her friends and our cat.  But he is equally happy to just sit on my lap or nap on the bed with Anna's grandma Bev.  He loves to ride in the car & keeps me company while Anna is at her various activities.  At night he hops into his bed & falls asleep without a whimper.  Anna wants him to sleep in her bed, but that will have to wait until we finish potty training.  We all agree that Mac will need a Chi friend in the future.  So we'll be watching your site for a little Hill Country girl.

Take care & thanks again for everything!
Cheryl, Anna, Bev, Mac & Twinkle (the cat that tolerates the new interloper)

Just wanted to say Hi and to let you know that Tazzie is doing great. She is such a funny little girl and so full of energy. We are adjusting very well and she is learning so quickly. I am so amazed at how smart she is and how quickly she is learning...she is so smart. She is barking and running around my apartment (playing chase) and loves cuddle time. She is not to fond of the little dress her uncle bought for her so we are sticking to the collar only (as originally planned..lol). It restricted her running time. She had a blast meeting Grandma and Grandpa and is just the star in the family. My parents want to have her over during the weekends. Tazzie had so much fun running and playing with Papa that she wore herself out and Papa too. (attached is a picture of her and Papa sleeping). Papa bought her a play pen and she has plenty of toys...she is already spoiled...lol. I think she is loving it. She is such a joy to have and I am glad that I made the decision to get a dog..a chi. She is such a blessing and I am glad that I stumbled across your website and saw Ms. Tazzie there. I knew we were a match when I met her. I am anxious to see how she will be when she grows up.

Thank you so much! I pray for many blessings for you and your family. You blessed me with Tazzie.

Robin

Dear Shirley,

I have to tell you the love story about Sophie. I will never forget the introduction to both you and Sophie. When I decided to get a new puppy, I was going through a rough divorce. I had leased an apartment and I was lonely. I had seen a photo of Sophie via internet from you. When we met you in San Marcos at the outlet mall you brought 4 or 5 puppies for me to choose from. I “thought” I wanted a male, but when Sophie was placed in my arms, it was love at first sight. I remember that all of the puppies were clean and beautiful. I really would have loved to have had them all. I could tell instantly that you were an expert at raising pups.

Shirley, Sophie is my child and my angel. I thank you very much for bringing such a special angel in my life.

Much love to you and all of your puppies!

Hi Shirley,

Sorry it has taken a few days for me to be able to write you. Dexter is a spit-fire! As soon as we brought him home, he ate immediately, investigated the downstairs area, met his new sister cat Zoe, and about wagged his tail off. He really has learned and adjusted to the new surroundings, and us being “Mom and Dad”, and the first two nights were a little anxious. But, he poops himself out and is only crying for about five minutes and then falls asleep.

He is pad training really well because, well, he’s so smart! And he is just the happiest little boy we’ve ever met. His first vet visit with us was great, and he put on such a brave face. Plus he’s such a good car companion.

Thank you so much for everything!

Lee Ann, Travis, and Dexter

Neko (Buster Brown) came in to our lives about two years ago and he has brought us so much joy.  He is full of energy, always making us smile.  I attached a picture of him that I thought was a good one.  I always look at your website just see all the adorable puppies and the beautiful adults you have.  For my next chihuahua I would not think of going with anyone else but your family.  I feel your family does a great job on raising beautiful and lovable chihuahuas.  We would really like to have a little girl running around in our lives.  I was wondering if you have any long haired little girl chihuahuas that might be ready to be adopted in the near future.  Thank you so much for our little joy, Neko.

Hello Shirley,

Just wanted to say thank you for the information on Justice/Max. He is so sweet, just can't imagine life without him. Lenny (my husband) is getting very attached to him. They spend a lot of time in the yard together. It's so cute to watch Justice/Max follow him around and help him with the leaves. (playing with the leaves) Thanks so much for giving us such a special little guy.

Lenny and I have decided that we would like to get another puppy for our home. Big guys fall hard don't they! lol. We would like to get one of your new puppies, hopefully a girl this time. We were on your web site and looked at the new babies... how precious. We just think your web site shows how much you love what you do! When the puppies are ready and you start to take deposits, please let us know. We would love to make one of them a new addition to our family.

We will also keep an eye on the web site, so we can look at the photos to help us pick the right puppy. Again, thank you for all the work you put into bring such healthy, wonderful little bundles of love to everyone who has gotten a puppy from you.

Thank You,
Pam Brucato

Carmen and Adriana are holding the three puppies they and their brother adopted!  Thank you so much and stay in touch!

Shirley,

I know it has been a long time but I just wanted to check in! Now that I have been at home for summer for a while things are finally starting to slow down. But I'm still keeping busy working full time! I just wanted to let you know that Tucker has grown up to be such a sweet little guy! He loves to cuddle and always showers everyone with kisses, sometimes too many. But, he's doing very well he hasn't had any health problems and he has so much energy! He plays with my parents Border Collie and just has fun terrorizing her! I don't think he realizes he could get a potential butt whoopin if he isn't careful! He's fearless! He has been such a blessing in my life and for my family! He keeps me company while I'm away at school and he just loves coming home to Austin and spending time with my family! I will send some pictures soon! How are you doing?

Kiva

Hi Shirley
Just want to drop you a line to let you know that Lela is doing great.  She has a wonderful personality and is learning how to be sociable...she loves to go for walks.  Lela enjoys other people and animals and has become a real social butterfly.  I sometimes allow my friends to take her out visiting.  They have wee wee pads and toys for her at their homes and even have her favorite foods.

Everytime someone sees her for the first time, they can't stop wanting to pick her up and just hold her.  Lela loves it and is always willing to give kisses to anyone she comes into contact with.  She's been a wonderful addition to my family of animals.  I'm including a picture of Patches, my Jack Russel and Lola, my Chihuahua.  Patches and Lola have taken to Lela very well...Lela loves them.
Take care
Cynthia

I must include this on the Past Puppy Page...
Each of my customers brings with them laughter, stories of their past canines that they loved deeply, or the new journey of puppy ownership they are embarking upon.  Each of you enrich our lives with your kindness!  I hope you know that we consider you "family" after the adoption of our puppies!  We would love to stay in touch during the years ahead!
Thank each of you for the support you give us!

The below is written by Woody's new owner.  He is now called the Texas name of Maverick!
Here is a small picture of a pup with a huge personality!!!!

Shirley,

I just love Maverick!  He had no problem adjusting after the flight. He was happy and lively and went right for the food bowl.

He was meant to come home with me. I am sooooo happy. He is beautiful, funny, smart and gets along with Sugar. They are exactly the same size right now!  He loves to play with all the toys I got for him. He is already running after this teeny tennis ball and almost brings it back!

I cant wait until my friends see this most adorable guy!

Thanks and have a wonderful Christmas!

Ally
ps Keep me in mind for adult dogs or other puppies. You never know!

Below is a message sent to us from a customer, however I still need to post the little guy's picture!!!
For now, all we have is the sweet message sent us by the customer!

Shirley,

As you can see, Pesto (aka Tahoe) has become a happy member of the Feld household. He is adorable. I keep checking the site for new puppies. I never thought I would like a chihuahua, never mind fall in complete love with one. Pesto is my personal buddy. He hangs with me all the time. Bear and Baci just love him, particularly Baci; they are real buds. I just wanted to let you know that he is healthy and happy. By the way, he eats like a little pig; I have to limit him because he won't stop. He is a real love.

Merry Christmas from the Felds!

Nancie, Doug, Bear, Baci, & Pesto Feld

Hi Shirley!

Nice to hear from you! Rocky is on top of the world. We are so pleased, after moving  to our new home Rocky has really stepped up his game. He runs “his” back yard like a kingdom, and he has us well trained. Believe it or not he ring’s his bell when he needs to go out. I will send you a video of this in the next few days. We placed a service bell by the back door and he figured it out quickly. It’s one of those bells you see at a reception desk when you ring for service. He has mastered the subtleties needed for a soft ring when we are sitting nearby as well as the urgent “Ding! Ding! Ding!” when there are pressing matters.  He seems to have reached his full weight at a whopping four pounds! He is still the most handsome little man that you remember. I will forward current pictures and the video when we download them from the camera. Carson and Hannah send their regards as well.

Thanks for checking in!

I thought I would drop you note about what a pleasure Rocky is. He has already made a place in the heart of our family. He is just as you described, happy and playful for a couple of hours then crashes. He really seems happy!

Hi Shirley,
Autumn is now 3.7 pounds and she is everything that we thought she would be. She is playful, smart and fast as a race horse. We love her more than anything else in the world. Thank you so much for choosing our family to raise her. Here are some pictures of her with our other dog Kayla and also some of Paige.

Thank you again,
Take Care
Kate and Paige

Hey Shirley, I just wanted to tell you how happy I am with little Martin, we
have now named him Zephyr but he is just wonderful, we took him to the vet
yesterday, hes healthy of course. I was really surprised how potty trained
he is. Remember how my dad wasn't too thrilled, we'll he is in love with him
and takes him to the mailbox and to get the newspaper in the morning, he
can't put him down. Well I must go, but thank you so much.
Sarah Overton

I just wanted to write and say hi.  We decided to name her Martini.  She is perfect.  I love her so much!! She is such a happy and good dog! I can tell y'all really took good care of her and loved her. She has such a cute personality and everyone loves her!!! I will take some pictures of her soon and send them to you.  Hope everything is well!

"He is doing very good! He is active with me and he is very friendly with other people. He loves to eat! He is very curious and loves following me everywhere I go.  Smurf is doing so good! He is getting use to being with a lot of people. He is very friendly and loves to be held and petted.  People just can’t resist him when they see him!  He makes me very happy!”

Smurf’s new owner

Mark is the proud owner of Chipper!  Chipper is Dipper's puppy and is now 10 months old!  Chipper is a long coat Chihuahua.

"Chipper has been very easy to train and he's very well behaved.
He gets time everyday to play with other dogs and we get out for a walk
every day. One picture is from a small mountain in Vermont (Mt. Philo)
and it overlooks Lake Champlain. The other picture is from a beach,
which is half mile from my home, and Chipper loves the water!"

But first thing is first. Hershey's name has changed to "MACK". Since our family is a LONGHORN family we named him after MACK BROWN. We acknowledge out UT Pride and the fact that he is a chocolate brown color, just made it work.

How does he fit into our family? How doesn't he! Our family is a family of dog lovers so Mack is never without a friend to play with.

As far as MACK and our daughter...I couldn't have asked for a BETTER dog. Isabel and MACK are growing up together. That was exactly why we got him and it's going GREAT! Isabel is 5 months now and her interaction with MACK grows everyday. You can tell from the few pics sent. MACK is so gentle with her. That is so important to us, because at this stage in our daughter's life she isn't so gentle.

Every morning our ritual begins with Erick taking MACK to potty. Isabel and I wait for them to come up. I start to get Isabel dressed with MACK at her side keeping her entertained. It's so cute! He will just lie next to her and lick her little hands, this makes Isabel laugh every time. Then it changes with the day. On our days off, Erick's or mine, MACK stays with us and goes to run errands. MACK loves car rides. At first not so much, it was new. Now he can't wait to go somewhere. He loves hanging out the window and letting the wind hit his face. If we both work that day, then we take MACK to one of our parents' houses where he has huge backyards to play in. It just doesn't seem right to leave him at home alone.

I guess I have made this letter long enough. I really just wanted to give you an update on how MACK "the dog formerly known as HERSHEY" was doing. I truly believe that I found your website for a reason. MACK fits perfectly in our lives. I know that he has brought smiles to all of our faces and we are so lucky to have gotten him.

THANK YOU !

This is from the couple that bought Willy Wonka.... 8-2006

I took Willy to the vet today.  She said he was in great shape and was especially impressed with the quality of his medical treatment.  He is doing very well – eating/drinking/going potty outside/playing with Jelly.  He slept through the night right beside Jelly’s bed on his blanket.  I think he has intentions of moving into the bed but is being respectful for the time being!  That is the first time I have had that happen with a new puppy.  Usually there is crying, fussing, etc.  Jelly and he had a great romp this afternoon.  I’m really pleased with how everything is going between them – I thought it would take longer.

Thank you!

"Darla is wonderful! She is the sweetest little thing!! I think one of
the most amazing things about her is her attraction to people and them
to her. I have had soooo many people stop to pet her! One couple was
driving by and stopped, got out of their car to come over to see her.
One lady in our condo complex interrupts phone conversations to watch
her walk by when we're out for a walk! (I've given her your name &
website - she'll probably be contacting you. She wants a puppy.) It's
incredible!! She's such a little bitty thing, but certainly has had a
huge impact on our lives and the people around us!! Thank you!!"
Lucy

"I should have a bunch of pictures for you soon. He is doing amazing. Loves every other animal he has come in contact with along with many other people. Once he gets comfortable with certain people he is a charm. When I hold my hand a few inches from the ground he runs over and hops up with his front paws on my hand for me to scratch his belly, but other people he will just lick their outstretched hand. Its adorable. Vet visit went well, it was my first trip to a vet and he was a very nice doctor. Diego has been playing with my friends chinchilla and rabbit and they all seem to be having a ball! I will surely reccomend you to anyone that I know who would like a little guy just like this one. Im so glad that this was not a scam. God Bless you. You raised him perfectly and it shows in his personality! Thanks so much, keep in touch!"
This is fron Mike Beach who adopted "Trooper" who is now named Diego!  Now Diego lives with his new, loving family in New York!  Thank you Mike for being such a great owner!

He is healthy, playful, and kind.
He understands my talking very well, very smart.
I love him so much.
We call him Tory instead of Rowdy now.
I am seding you pictures of him to show you that he is well.
He is now 4 lbs :-) Still very small.

Thank you so much that we can have him.
He is our precious!!!!!

Sincerely
Sunghee
